The magic of voodoo

This is what I had for breakfast this morning. Yes, that is a maple bar with real pieces of bacon on it, courtesy of Voodoo Doughnut here in Portland. It seems a bit odd, but it was fantasgreat. A little bit like eating a piece of bacon and a pancake soaked in maple syrup in the same bite. The thing about Voodoo is that not only do they have crazy doughnuts, like ones covered in Cap'n Cruch, or rolled in a crushed up Butterfinger, even their just plain old regular donuts are incredibly good. It is a good thing that it isn't too close to my house, or I would get a Voodoo dozen every three days.

Wow...I will trust you that that donught tastes better than it looks. You are, after all, my best foodie. Your blog is working: slowly, I am becoming convinced that we must go to Portland!
