After much drama involving a group of Labor and Delivery Nurses holding our lives hostage in their hands and laughing maniacally (I'll spare you the gory details) we made it to the hospital and had ourselves a baby.

Lila arrived at 1:10am this morning weighing in 6lbs 11oz and stretching to an enormous 18in in height. She's a little peanut. She might actually wear size 3 months baby clothes for more than 6 days (which is what our boys did.)

Amy was a champ. Active labor lasted about 4 minutes. I however, almost fainted. Twice. (Once during the epidural, and once during delivery.) Seriously? Why did
Amy getting an epidural almost make
me faint? I wasn't even watching.

After being bright eyed and wide awake (but not at all fussy) until we gave her to the nurse at 4am, she came back to us this morning bundled up and sleepy. Yeah for those Labor and Delivery nurses, whom now we love.
PS. I hope you sang the title of this post like Etta James. At laaaaast.
PPS. Amy is not here to proofread, so if I used the wrong "there" or put an apostrophe where it shouldn't be, my apologies. Eric - can you help a brother out?

Congrats. I'm glad that's over with and Lila is here. She is cute.
Also: Josh, I never knew you had such beautiful and manly fingers. Good for you.
Congratulations! She is beautiful. But what is with being so small? I thought you had big ones like me?!
She is gorgeous. I love the name. Congratulations!
Hip Hip Hooray!!!! I was worried she wouldn't make her arrival before we got there! I can't wait to see you and meet the little princess!
Yeah! We are happy for you guys. Such a cute picture of Lila and her Daddy. We can't wait to meet her. I'm sending you a little package of clothes that Saren is mostly grown out of to last those first few tiny weeks (you don't know this but 3 month clothes will be too big for a while). We love you - congratulations to all of you!
Hooray! We are so happy. She's beautiful and looks exactly like she belongs; she came to the right family, for sure. We love you all so much. She is a little peanut, but she will grow, probably much faster than you want her to. Let's hear if for the girls making a comeback in the family.
Wish we could be there to see all of you.
Congrats!! She's gorgeous!
Yay! She is so tiny and cute, and she looks EXACTLY LIKE a Josh-and-Amy Bingham. Can't wait to see you guys.

i thought about writing this all in italian, because you'd both get it. then i thought, that would be a pain the butt, and you'd probably skip it after dredging through my poor grammar and spelling.
point is, auguri.
Wonderful news! Congrats on your beautiful daughter.
Congrats! Josh, I'm sa' glad you didn't faint in the delivery room.
She is a beautiful little lady. How fun that the boys will have a sister around!
Man, I am so glad for you two. It must be a blast to be in your family!
For the record, it is pronounced like Delilah, without the De. Kacy, thanks for the compliment on the fingers! I do have great nail beds.
Good job Binghams! She is SO SO cute. I can't wait to meet my new niece, she's a cutie. :)
Congrats! I'm sorry I'm so slow on the uptake, but am SO excited for baby Lila!
