If you are sticking around, here is what I read last month:
4 out of 5 stars. I really, really loved this book. Amy absolutely hated it. We have never disagreed about a book more. It is the charming and happy story or a woman who is kidnapped at a young age and held in a soundproof room by a crazy man. She has a son (by the crazy man) and raises him in the room. Lovely, right? It is told through the eyes of the boy, who has a unique view of the world. You know, he was raised in a 12' x 12' room. I recommend.
3.5 out of 5 stars. I sort of love Brandon Mull. He writes the exact type of books that I want to write. They are smartly written and and creative and fun to read. This is his new series about two kids who get sucked into a world ruled by a malevolent wizard. My only problem with all of his books is that for some reason I have a hard time keeping his characters apart. I dealt with that all through Fablehaven and thought maybe I was just dumb. But nope, it is happening again. I blame you, Mull.
5 out of 5 stars. Hold me. Hold me and never let me go. I loved this book so much. It is, of course, high-larious, but it also has some great life lessons and touching moments. If you are going to read it, and you should, get the audio book. Tina reads it and it rules. I may need to listen to it again.
4 out of 5 stars. More Wheel of Time. This one is a good one.
That's it! I am at 16 books for the year so far. The goal is 40 (I am sure you are keeping track on your bubble chart at home.) I think I will make it!!!
On a related note, I loved Bossypants and am looking for other great audiobooks. Anyone out there an audiobook listener? Any suggestions?

Oh man, I've been dying to get Bossypants. Now I know I must!
I got Miles the Mull book when he lost his election. That's what us nerdy nerds do. And I can't wait to read Bossypants. Thanks for the tips!!!
I loved Bossypants too! I just got the regular old book, and although I am seriously considering getting the audio book you can really hear her voice even when you're just reading the words on the page. The one downside was that it made the next book I read not nearly as fun or funny because it wasn't Bossypants.
As far as audio books go, I don't have a ton of experience with them but anything David Sedaris reads is awesome. Especially when he does his Billy Holiday impression or has Amy do voices. I will actually only buy his books in the audio version.
Wow! That sure is a nerdy list, honey. Good thing we have a book club so not all of your books are about faries, unicorns, and wizards.
Honey - only 50% of these books are nerdy. For the record, I did try to read a book about HEnry the VIII and another about...a giant kraken.
