Of pies and happening

At my house we have noticed something lately. Have you? Tyler Florence, celebrity chef, has gotten really fat. Now I know some of you are saying "Hey Kettle. Did you just call Pot?" but seriously. What's up, Tyler?

Here is my research, because Chanel always wants me to quote sources. This is the cover of Tyler's cookbook from a few years ago: (which has a great recipie for cinnamon bundt cake. Highly recomended!)

He seems to be a healthy young man. Now here he is in an Applebee's promo:

Ouch, dude. Now he looks like he outweighs me. Double ouch.

I don't really blame him. If I was a chef, I would weigh 1 million pounds. I just think if you are sort of selling yourself as a "Hot Young Chef" you would hire a trainer. And the untucked shirt isn't fooling us, Tyler. We can still tell.

(BTW, the menu looks amazing: Penne Rosa with Sweet Italian Sausage, Herb-Crusted Chicken Topped with Italian Country Salad, Bruschetta Burger, and Crispy Brick Chicken with Warm Spinach Salad. Yummy. I just wonder if they would be any good if Gary from Applebee's who makes $8.50 and hour is cooking it. )

Thank you for the great documentation...

Also - do you think he was in charge of the Tuscon Chicken (you know that Arizona city is SO known for it's chicken)? I'm retarded.

(From the press corps): Josh, can you comment on the fact that Lisa's sister is now part of "The Family" and the Binghams (or Clarks for that matter) are not?!

Back to season two of The West Wing.

I guess that's why they had to get un-creative and say "BIG" talent from a "BIG" chef. Quite literal, I suppose.

Josh,

Here's how to make fabulous links:

use the text [a href="http://theactualwebaddress.com"]The Text You Want To Appear In Blue[/a]

Except replace the square brackets with < and >.

I didn't even know who that celebrity chef was until your blog. That's why I love blogs. I learn new things!
